Bettina came to working with clothing through fabric sculpture. While pursuing her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, she began integrating her sculptures into wearable works. Those seminal pieces inspired her to continue creating garments as fine art, as a way of exploring form, color, texture, and composition on the body. |
