Hubby on her Looking for a Sign series:

“The source material for these drawings was from published cartoons about men crawling in the desert looking for water. I looked at these as a metaphor for the search for hope in what seems like dark times. I decided to keep the signs blank, so as not to be leading or to prophesy, though choosing to draw in rainbow pencil so as to have an open-ended sense of possibility.”
